The garden sign is cut from 16 gauge steel. The rod is 1/4" rod. A 1" circle is welded near the base of the rod to prevent the sign from turning once place in the ground. The sign is painted after it has been completely assembled. We use a durable urethane enamel with a clear coat finish to protect the sign from UV rays.
